Start your adventure with a convenient pick-up from Tromsø city center, where you’ll enjoy a scenic 50-minute bus ride to Sommarøy, soaking in the stunning Arctic landscapes along the way.  After a safety briefing and kayaking introduction at our Activity center, your guide will lead you to the best spot based on weather conditions. As you paddle silently through the clear waters, keep an eye out for seals, sea eagles, otters, and playful porpoise whales, often drawn to the kayaks by curiosity. Surrounded by incredible views, your guide will share fascinating stories about Sommarøy’s fishing heritage and everyday life, along with insights into the region’s wildlife. Midway through the tour, we’ll stop at a secluded beach for a peaceful break.

Whether you’re new to kayaking or a seasoned paddler, our stable double kayaks (or single kayaks for the experienced) ensure a comfortable experience.

The tour ends back at the activity center (kayak distance of approx. 5km's) where your bus transfer back to Tromsø awaits.
