We start this tour with a convenient pick-up from Tromsø city center, where you’ll enjoy a scenic 50-minute bus ride to Sommarøy, a popular destination for kayaking and nature enthusiasts. Upon arrival at our Activity center, your guide will help you get ready with equipment and safety tips before we start paddling. Together, we'll explore quiet bays, white sandy beaches, and small islands only reachable by kayak or boat. As you paddle, watch for sea eagles and local wildlife against the backdrop of Sommarøy’s stunning coastal scenery. Midway, we’ll stop ashore for a break, where your guide will share insights into the island’s fishing heritage, everyday life, and wildlife.

Whether you’re new to kayaking or experienced, our stable double kayaks (or single kayaks for advanced paddlers) ensure a smooth experience.

The tour ends back at the activity center (kayak distance of approx. 5km's) where your bus transfer back to Tromsø awaits.
